The Kylt® Flavobacterium columnare Kit has been developed and validated for the specific detection of Flavobacterium columnare in fish samples.
Flavobacterium columnare is the causative agent of the so-called cotton-wool disease in fish.
Tissues and organs (brain, kidney), typical lesions (e.g. skin, gills, spleen, kidney) as well as swab samples from these tissues, water samples and material from cultural enrichment are suitable for analysis.
The Real-Time PCR Detection Kit contains all reagents and controls for the specific detection of Flavobacterium columnare.
