Detailed description
The Kylt® Streptoccocus iniae Kit has been developed and validated for the detection of Streptoccocus iniae in samples from fish.
Streptoccocus iniae is a highly pathogenic bacterium in aquaculture with a high lethality rate. Depending on the fish species, the symptoms vary. Since classical microbiological diagnosis is difficult, diagnosis by real-time PCR is ideal.
Tissue samples from the brain and typical lesions of the skin and internal organs as well as swab samples from these tissues, water samples and material from cultural enrichment are suitable for analysis.
The Real-Time PCR Detection Kit contains all reagents and controls for the specific detection of Streptoccocus iniae.
